WHAT TO EXPECT
Your experience with Hypnotherapy begins with an assessment process so that together we can identify goals and a plan to reach them. Julie will take some time to get to know you so that your session can be tailored to meet your individual needs. Your first session is generally 1 1/2 to 2 hours long. Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
You will experience a trance "induction" during your session. Julie will use a variety of techniques to relax your body and your mind so that your brain state is altered in such a way that you are more open to suggestion. Even though you appear to be in a trance during hypnosis, you are not unconscious. You are still completely aware of your surroundings and, despite what stage performers may claim during a show, you can not be made to do anything against your will. You remain totally in control of the situation. Julie is simply there to guide you on your own journey.
Hypnotherapy is not covered by most insurance plans, and Mindful Living Hypnotherapy does not bill insurance. You are responsible for payment at the time of service.
